The Barco Encore3 is a powerful, next-generation screen management platform built for demanding live events, large-format displays, LED canvases, projection systems, and multi-screen productions. Designed around uncompromised native 4K processing, Encore3 combines high-quality scaling, flexible screen management, and extensive system resources in a modular platform that can grow with the size and complexity of the show.
Encore3 supports a boundless canvas with up to eight 4K60 program outputs, 12-bit 4:4:4 processing, and up to eight 4K60 layers per screen. The standard configuration provides 16 4K60 inputs and eight 4K60 outputs, with support for HDMI, DisplayPort, and 12G-SDI workflows. Barco’s Athena scaling, ultra-low processing latency, integrated Dante and embedded audio, genlock, Multiviewer capabilities, and flexible AUX outputs make it well suited for complex live-production environments.
The modular architecture also allows multiple Encore3 systems to be linked when additional I/O and processing resources are required, making it a strong option for everything from corporate events and large LED displays to blended projection and multi-destination experiences.

Is a backup Encore3 included?
A backup Encore3 is not included by default. You can request a matching backup unit as part of your rental package. HRE can help plan redundancy and configure both units around your show requirements.
Which accessories come with the rental?
Each Encore3 rental comes show-ready with the essential accessories needed for operation, including the appropriate power, network, and connection cabling for your configuration. Additional accessories, control hardware, adapters, and backup components can also be added based on your show requirements.
Can I add programming or an operator?
Yes. Programming and experienced ENCORE operators can be added to your rental package as needed. Whether you need pre-show programming, on-site operation, or full show support, we can provide skilled personnel to help get your system built, tested, and show-ready.
What should I send for a quote?
To get an accurate quote, send us your show dates, system requirements, expected resolution and output count, and any available signal flow or system drawings. Let us know if you’ll also need programming, an operator, backup systems, or additional equipment. If you’re not sure exactly what you need, send us what you have and our team can help build the right package for your show.
